So is every other month. Thyroid cancer can strike anytime of the year, and it does not discriminate.
Thyroid Cancer Canada is here to help patients and their families cope when the unfortunate happens. Since our inception in May 2000, we are happy to report that there are over 20,000 thyroid cancer survivors in Canada. Your support will help increase that survival rate.
Coming up is the Thyroid Cancer Walk and Run in Toronto, Sept 16, 2017.
Come join us at the Running Room!
Register and take an important step for raising awareness and run for a great cause. Tell your friends and family. You can choose 5K (run/walk) or 10K run.
All registered runners will receive a free t-shirt.
Event is located at Etienne Brule park in Toronto (south of Old Mill Road) and a 5-minute walk from Old Mill subway station. Pedestrians and cyclists can also travel through the park on the Tommy Thompson Trail, using entrances at Pasadena Gardens and Lundy Avenue.
Your support will enable TCC to provide those that have been affected by thyroid cancer accurate information, support & empowerment as well as peer support and patient education meetings. TCC also participates in research and advocacy work for patients to gain access to much-needed therapies both existing and emerging within Canada.
